I love carrots because I can make any snack with it within minutes. Carrot is a healthy vegetable. It is crunchy, tasty, and highly nutritious. Carrots are a particularly good source of beta carotene, fiber, vitamin K1, potassium, and antioxidants . They also have a number of health benefits. They’re a weight-loss-friendly food and have been linked to lower cholesterol levels and improved eye health. What’s more, their carotene antioxidants have been linked to a reduced risk of cancer.   The  carrot  is a  root vegetable, typically orange in color, though purple, black, red, white, and yellow. Orange carrots get their bright color from beta carotene, an antioxidant that your body converts into vitamin A.

My favorite place in Sri Lanka

Image
Galle Fort Galle fort is one of my favorite place in Sri Lanka.  Galle Fort is the most beautiful coastal town in Sri Lanka. Its history makes it a melting pot of culture, with a unique fusion of European  and Asian influences, as seen in the whitewashed Dutch style buildings that line the cobbled streets. Head to the most southwestern corner of the country and enjoy all the beautiful things to do in Galle Fort, Sri Lanka. In the 18th century, the  Dutch  built their headquarters, Galle Fort, on the Sri Lankan coast, taking over from the Portuguese rule since the 16th century. They fortified Galle, leaving behind beautiful  European style buildings still there today. Later, the British took over the town until Sri Lanka became an independent nation once again.  Because of its extraordinary history, the fort has enormous cultural and architectural value. As such, it’s recognized as a  UNESCO heritage site to preserve the area’s beauty. ...

Most important person that I met

Image
We meet many people as we go through life. Some people we met by chance add value to our lives.  In this post  I will tell you about the most important person that I met.  BHATHIYA AND SANTHUSH  Bathiya & Santhush, also known as  BNS,  are a  Sri Lankan  pop duo consisting of  Bathiya Jayakody  (born on December 22, 1976) and  Santhush Weeraman  (born on September 5, 1977), who met while at the "Mary Anne David School of Vocal Music" in Colombo (training mainly under the categories of classical and show tunes). They both were born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. They have been one of the most commercially successful music acts in Sri Lanka in the last two decades. Having performed in over 2000 concerts in Sri Lanka and abroad, BnS marked significant success with their own concert tour series "Neththara Live" with 120 concerts (2005-2008), "Shaheena Live" 40 concerts (2009-2011), "S...

Sunflower

Image
My Favorite flower Flowers have a special attraction to the humans. They are used to serve several other purposes as well. It is a kind of symbol of love, peace and happiness. So, people are attracted to flowers. They love to have flowers on different occasions. I am not an exception in this case but my preference is a bit dissimilar from many others, even my family members. Most of the people are fond of rose which is considered as the queen of flowers. But I like sunflower the most. This is a special flower for me and casts a different charm to the people. This is a photogenic flower and looks beautiful when blooms. The flowers are of different size and shapes and the naming as ‘Sunflower’ might have been done so as they face to the sun when bloomed. Sunflower is one of the major products of France and mostly the seeds are used to manufacture cooking oils. The sunflower oils are healthy and free of the other toxic issues that may cause physical disorder after consumption. Mor...

My favorite fruit Strawberries are also popular among children because of their flavor.  The strawberry is my favorite  fruit and also my favorite   flavor . Strawberries are tiny reddish fruits that are highly flavorful  and juicy. Strawberries soften and sweeten as they ripen. They are often grown during summers around the world but are also available throughout the year because of their popularity.  Strawberries are often used for garnishing cakes and deserts.  I love eating strawberries whole, and my breakfast is never complete without this fruit!

My favorite country

Hi,Iam gonna to talk about the country have the cleanest water in the world. Singapore is a leading global city-state and island country in Southeast Asia. Since Singapore is a small island with a high population density, the number of private cars on the road is restricted so as to curb pollution and congestion. Singaporean residents also travel by foot, bicycles, bus, taxis and train. Two companies run the public bus and train transport systems. There are six taxi compaines, who together put out over 28,000 taxis on the road. Taxis are a popular form of public transport as the fares are relatively cheap compared to many other developed countries. Singapore has little land to collect and store rainwater. We have faced drought, floods and water pollution in the early years when we established the nation. These challenges have inspired us to innovate and develop capabilities in this area, turning our weakness into strength. Looking back through Singapore’s water journey...
